Police Operation Agila Rhodesia and WW2 RNVR Fleet Air Arm Medal group with Flying Log Book to 2nd Lieutenant / Chief Superindendant Jack Shephard. This is a very comprehensive group which includes much documentation. The medal group consists of : 1939-45 Star, Defence Medal, War Medal, Rhodesia Medal, Police Long Service and Good Conduct Medal, Zimbabwe Independence Medal all complete with ribbons along with cased Queen's Commendation for Bravery. Jack Shepherd had a very sucessful career in the Police after leaving the Royal Navy where he was a Pilot in the RNVR Fleet Air Arm. Commended for Bravery and later he led the British Police Contingent to Rhodesia in Operation Agila to help supervise a free and fair election to majority rule. Much documentation.
