CONDITION: Both relatively recently cleaned, restored and relined, remaining in good clean condition with a fine but stable craquelure running through much of the paint, the image with the canon in the foreground has a scratched scuff near the top right corner, both with old Christie's stencil marks to the stretchers S26PV and 2SSNG, housed in later gilt gesso frames which are separating at the corners with scattered dents and knocks.
