A 19th century French Empire walnut escritoire with black marble loose top, having ornate gilt brass mounts depicting chimeras flanked by lightening bolts, the fall front opening onto a fitted interior with an array of drawers flanked by Corinthian columns, above three long drawers with ornate brass handles and lock escutcheons, on block feet.
