Star Lot ; An original James H. Flack watercolour on paper painting titled "A Winter Day" by the contemporary Irish artist dating to 1980. Features a rural landscape scene with tall bare trees sihouetted against a white snow filled sky. Signed bottom right and housed in an ornate gilt frame. Studio label to verso. Flack has a strong auction history with works fetching into the mid hundreds.

A self-taught artist, James Flack exhibited through the Kennedy Gallery and the Davis Gallery, Dublin, Kenny's in Galway, the Kilcock Art Gallery in Kildare, and with various group shows including the RHA, the WCSI and the Oireachtas.
