A smokebox numberplate, 69718, from a LNER N7 Class 0-6-2T No 2616 built at Doncaster, Works No 1685, in February 1928, renumbered 9718 in 1946, becoming BR 69718. It spent almost all its working life at Stratford from where it was withdrawn in December 1960 and cut up at the nearby Works. The front repainted. (Postage Band: D)
