Scarce New Zealand Medal, adapted into menu card holder, for use in offices mess. Medal awarded to 75 David Peck, 1st BN 12th Foot inscription to stand 'Presented by Capt C F Hoyle 28.04.02'. Private Peck was on active service with 1st Battalion, 12 Regiment of Foot (East Suffolk Regiment) in the New Zealand wars for the period 1863-1866 and he was discharged from service on 13th September 1867.
