Scarce New Zealand Medal, adapted into menu card holder, for use in offices mess. Medal awarded to 75 David Peck, 1st BN 12th Foot inscription to stand 'Presented by Capt C F Hoyle 28.04.02'. Private Peck was on active service with 1st Battalion, 12 Regiment of Foot (East Suffolk Regiment) in the New Zealand wars for the period 1863-1866 and he was discharged from service on 13th September 1867.
Some minor surface scratches, some imperfections to reverse after letter ‘D’ inn New Zealand and before letter ‘V’ in Virtutis. Please refer to attached photographs to assist bidders assessment and condition
