Victorian rosewood writing slope with brass stringing, mounts and carry handles, enclosing a velour-lined interior, 19cm high, 51cm wide and 30cm deep.
The brass stringing needs attention. There are visible areas of lifting where it needs re-affixed. There are also losses of brass stringing to the box. There is visible age-related staining to the brass also. The velour interior is faded and worn. Contains one later bottle only. The drawers are present below. The hinged top opens and closes freely. The handles are present. There is age-related surface scratches and staining to the rosewood. Engraved cartouche on the top reads 'Hum Drum Club'.
