A late 19th century English wooden rocking Horse, of small proportions, attributed to Frederick Henry Ayres (F H Ayres, London), the carved, gesso and painted dappled Horse with pricked ears, flared nostrils and open mouth, the head inset with amber and black glass eyes, brown tan leather saddle, real horse hair tail, the body with outstretched legs on swing stand, raised upon a pair of turned stand pillars and mounted with shaped rectangular brackets with three bolts applied to each, trademark side rails with shaped pointed ends, 79cm high, 81cm long
