1930 (July 11) Cover to A.C Roessler in New Jersey with 3d black and blue-green and Air Mail 3d both cancelled at Samarai, a U.S 5c Air Mail stamp applied in Samarai to pay for air mail within the USA, the U.S stamp cancelled in transit in Brisbane, with red boxed "INSUFFICIENTLY PAID / FOR AIR MAIL SERVICE", Sydney backstamp. Philatelic but unusual, a scarce use of U.S Air stamps in Papua.
