An early to mid 20th century Tasheh, ‘wheat sack’ wall hanging or rug, Chahar Mahal, West-Central Persia, Bakhtiyari-Lor tribes, hand-knotted in earthy tones of brown and cream with central Namakdan ‘salt-bag’ panel, 111cm x 98cm; another, similar, in earthy tones with ochre, pink, and deep blue, 122cm x 110cm, (2).
