Elliott of London, a reproduction ebonised chiming bracket clock in the late-17th Century style the eight-day duration, three-train movement having a platform lever escapement and striking and chiming the hours and quarters on eight brass gong-rods, the backplate stamped for the maker F.W. Elliott Ltd, London with a selection lever for either Westminster or Whittington chimes, the square brass dial having a raised chapter ring engraved with black Roman numerals and cast-brass spandrels, with blued steel trefoil hands, the bell-top ebonised case with applied gilt-brass mounts and handle, with instructions within the back door, height 32cm including handle.
