A Chinese Qing Dynasty, 18th century, porcelain ginger jar with associated lid, decorated in Transitional style underglaze blue with a continuous landscape frieze with four figures, with a Kangxi style double ring mark to base, 16 by 20cm high.
The lid has been damaged and repaired, there are flaws in the glaze throughout as well as some splatters of paint to the jar. The top rim and base are worn consistent with its age.
