A Chinese pottery model of a Bactrian camel and a similar head of a man, Tang Dynasty,
the buff coloured pottery figure of a camel decorated in white and red pigments, on a rectangular plinth, the terracotta head decorated in grey and red pigments,
28 cm and 16.5 cm high including bases

More Information

The camel has numerous breaks and repairs to the legs and base and is encrusted with earth. The head is a fragment of a larger figure and has some encrustation of earth, otherwise in reasonable condition.
