A 20th century German gilt metal bird automaton music box. Decorated with scrolling tendrils and lattice patterns, on claw feet, the oval hinge with a bucolic scene opens to reveal a bird within a pierced grill, height 6.5cm width 16.5cm, depth 8cm.
