The canvas has been very competently restored; the front looks relatively clean and bright, with very little in the way of damage apparent, other than a small, approx. 3mm diameter area of paint loss to the centre right. It would appear to have been a larger canvas, which has been cut down and restretched. To verso the areas of repair can be seen; 6 very small repairs, and one larger area.
