25 bore, smoothbore, 5 3/4 inch barrel with blade foresight. Breech with various proof stamps. Case hardened lock plate with line edge engraving. Engraved "1855 Tower" and tang with crowned "VR". Military percussion hammer. The reverse with long steel belt hook. Polished, full stock woodwork with various Ordnance stamps and "C P Swinburn & Son", also " P Bailey". Brass trigger guard, reverse set butt cap, ramrod pipe and end cap. Steel swivel lanyard ring. Steel swivel ramrod. Clean example.
