A collection of Herculaneum pottery, early 19th century, comprising a dry-bodied stoneware jug, with relief sprigged decoration of a tavern scene, rockwork and trees, with green painted accents to ribbed spout and foot and the handle, impressed 'HERCULANEUM' mark, 20.5cm high; a pratt sucrier and cover (at fault) with a matching creamer, 13cm high; two creamware plates, 'Returning Hope' with verse and one with a frigate, 25cm diameter (chipped, cracked); and three plates and one bowl, blue and white transfer-printed, including one in the 'Lancaster' pattern and another with milkmaid and cattle, impressed marks (10 pcs including cover)
