An early 20th century Indian silver salt and pepper shakers, by Dass & Dutt, Bhowanipore, Calcutta, with embossed village scene, 5.5cm, 56gm
Dass & Dutt were established in the late 19th century by Grish Chunder Dutt and Goopee Nath Dutt. They created elaborately designed, répoussée, and chased scenes of Indian village and farming life, with human figures, animals, and trees.

Holding up payment, non communication about payment and collections slows this process down, breakdown of this may result in the buyer being blocked from bidding on multiple platforms, a situation so easily avoided. Please pay and collect promptly. There may be a charge for late collections. All details on our website or that of your chosen platform provider. You may contact us to arrange your own courier collection, printed labels or collection by a friend or colleague. Please note that we will ask for proof of consent.
