A Derby porcelain pedestal vase, painted by James Rouse (1802-1884), signed, with a girl mending a boy's torn breeches, within a gilt rope twist beaded oval vignette, the verso with flowers and ripening fruit, on a turquoise ground, decorated with gilt lattice and fleur-de-lys, moulded leafy gilt handles, 28.5cm high, c.1860
