A Persian/Ottoman circular tray-top table, the large dished circular copper top hand-embossed and chased to the centre with the figure of mounted Persian Prince Gushtasp slaying the dragon, from the 'Shahnama' (Book of Kings by Ferdowsi 931-1025), within a continuous band worked with a procession of regal figures, animals and beasts, within an outer band of panels containing Persian script, 79cm diam, (the brass top 'tinned' to the reverse with traces visible to obverse flange), with six-leg folding wooden stand carved and pierced with scrolling leaves, together with a circular brass table tray-top with foliate pierced centre and pie-crust rim, 76cm
