VARIETIES: Exhibition pages with the study of pre-cancelled Blanc, Sower & Pasteur types displaying a range of "surcharge a plat" & "surcharge rotative" variations, much unmounted mint inc. dated corner blocks, millesimes, errors, etc. Varieties of note inc. "Point de Couleur", raised "T" in "POSTES", missing bar in "A" of "AFFRANCHts", broken/mis-shaped outer rings, mis-placed overprints, etc. Fine range of covers/wrappers present, noting the scarce 55c on 60c violet on complete wrapper and use of 30c Pasteur pre-cancel on env. to USA.
