A MAHOGANY LONGCASE BY THOMAS HUSBAND HULL, c.1800, the eight day movement with anchor escapement striking on a bell, 12" arched brass dial with moon phase and signature in the arch, silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, leaf chased centre with secondary dials, the crossbanded case with stringing and shell paterae, the pagoda hood with stop fluted Corinthian columns, arched trunk door flanked by canted fluted angles, on panel base and ogee bracket feet, 92 1/2" high (Illustrated) (Est. plus 24% premium inc. Movement reasonably clean, moon phase appears to be merely decorative, some rubbing to silvering of chapter ring and scratch to ship painting of arch, case very good. With weights, key and pendulum, finials missing.
