A 19th century French gilt and enamel worked mantel clock. The cylinder head clock inset with Sevres manner porcelain painted dial with black enamel Roman Numeral chapter ring. Inset brass Japy Freres 8-day movement striking on a bell. Set to a gilt metal case with large figural diorama of a dandy gent next to urn over clock face. Raised on decorative large socle plinth base with further inset porcelain enamel painted plaques with scrolled hairy paw feet. Measures approx. 41cm high x 40cm wide.
