A BRASS BELL FROM HMS MMS 1057. Bell 22cm high
The motor minesweeper was ordered on 18 December 1942 and was built by Clare Shipbuilding, Meteghan, Canada. She was launched on 25 July 1944 and commissioned on 11 January 1945. Her class was MMS II, commanded by A/Ch.Skr. (A/Skr.Lt.) Arthur Duffield DSC RNR.
