£680
A late 19th / early 20th century pine two-section Campaign style secretaire chest, the fall-front drawer revealing a fitted interior with two short and two long drawers below and with brass mounts and pulls. Width 106cm, height 100cm, depth 46cm.
Good condition, one side handle detached but present. Some surface marks and scratches.
Key present, and can confirm that the locks are functioning on the secretaire drawer, left short drawer and upper long drawer. The other two are not in working order.
No signs of worm. Additional pine blocks have been added to the inside to aid drawer movement.
Detached handle is not broken, but appears to have bent slightly. This can be placed into the mount, but is loose and will not be load bearing. It may be possible for a restorer to re-shape it to fit correctly, or to move the mount slightly to ensure a tighter fit.
