A late 19th century Chinese Coromandel lacquer eight fold dressing screen, decorated to one side with figures amongst pagodas within a border of vases and flowers, the other side with polychrome decoration of birds amongst water plants, each panel W.1ft 4in. H.6ft 9in.

CONDITION: Black side of the screen has a number of small scattered knocks and dents throughout along with old drilled holes where it formerly had a different set of hinges holding it together, the gilt side in better condition as it does not show these hinge holes but still with a few small scattered dents and knocks.
