(Napoleon interest) Two letters from Constantin Faucher Brigadier General and his twin brother, to the mayor of La Reole, Gironde and countersigned by the sous prefet, Detailing the poor condition of Le Rede prison (the prison was thought to hold spies), framed with doubled sided glazing measuring 33cm x 24.5cm, 1801 and 1802. (2) "Born on the same day, died on the same day". Constantin Faucher Brigadier General with his twin brother Cesar, both held important positions in Napoleon's Army. Born in La Reole, Gironde 12th Sept 1760 and executed by the White Bourbon Terror by Fring Squad Sept 1815.
