A late 19th century Victorian bier or coffin carriage. The bier of typical form having a slatted platform top with straps and mounts with removable ends. Iron and wood frame with all raised on four large spoke wheels. Mackness of Chippenham plaque to the front. Signs of woodworm. Measures approx. 128cm x 260cm x 103cm.
