A rare pair of WWII Kriegsmarine 10x 80 bridge binoculars, maker Carl Zeiss Military Division, the backplate with makers plaque inscribed 'D.F 10 x 80 m.schr.Einbl20°' over eagle and swastika with 'M IV/1' surrounding , pre-war ordnance code 'blc' and serial number ' 179909', adjustable eyepiece with headrest and black Bakelite covers on canvas strap, main tubes with folding splash cuffs and spring loaded covers, the left tube with 'Tag/Nacht' colour glass changer, the right tube with fixed sight, slotted stand mount to base, together with a period metal trunk case with fitted interior (non-matching serial number '153022') and a period sighting disc deck stand, the swing mount with maker's plate 'Peilschelbe 042' and code 'bwv' serial number No 367, on a conical base, all retaining majority of original finish
