An early Worcester 'Scratch Cross' blue and white punch pot: painted in the 'Zig Zag Fence' pattern with rockwork and flowering shrubs around a zig zag fence below a diaper border, incised line inside the footrim, circa 1754-55, 16cm high, 26cm wide [cover lacking, tiny chip to spout]. *Provenance The Susi and Ian Sutherland Collection of English Blue & White Porcelain' Bonhams 3rd Oct. 2007 lot 138. *Notes Literature - John Sandon 'The Dictionary of Worcester Porcelain 1751-1835' vol 1, page 271 for a similar punch pot from The Gilbert Bradley Collection.
