MEISSEN, A RARE MARCOLINI PERIOD, 1774 - 1814, HARD PASTE PORCELAIN BASKET CENTREPIECE
Neoclassical shape, the reticulated twin handled pedestal basket having openwork applied with stylised gilded floral motifs, bottom interior polychrome enamelled with an unusual rural landscape view, raised on four gilded Roman scroll feet, bearing underglazerd blue crossed swords mark for Marcolini period to one foot.

Condition: good overall, in accordance with age, some wear to gilding
