UNDERPAID 17c-RATE (VIA U.S.) COVER WITH 1859 17c BLUE & MONTREAL "MORE-TO-PAY [11d]" MARK; 21 Dec. 1863 env. (edge wear + faults at top right) from Montreal to York "Per Canadian Steamer" with the 1859 17c Blue (fault at top left) tied by a poor Montreal duplex, but weighing "Over ½oz" and so charged 11d with a fine Montreal "MORE-TO-PAY" mark alongside; converted to a "1/2" charge (8d deficiency + the 6d fine) in GB.
