A fine 18th century figured mahogany cased eight-day repeating bracket clock; the broken-arch dial having silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals, with strike/silent and further subsidiary hand flanking left, signed to the arch William Hughes, High Holborn, London, the gilded twin fusee movement also signed and striking on a bell, with gilded brass carrying handle, raised on brass ogee bracket feet (33cm high)
