A French Louis XIII design open armchair in walnut with pictorial tapestry back and tapestry seat, probably late 19th Century.
Good overall condition. Some general surface marking, scratching and wear to framing. One foot has a small chip to the back side. Some slight evidence of worm to right arm. Upholstery appears original, and is in fairly good order - no rips or tears. Some minor pulls and a couple of small thin areas to back rest. Some of the beading is also loose to the rear right corner. Perfectly stable and functional, but needs a good clean.
