A LATE 17TH CENTURY WALNUT AND CANE OPEN ARMCHAIR, ENGLISH, CIRCA 1685. Having an arched cane back, a C-scroll carved cresting and columnar over baluster-turned back uprights, outsplayed scroll-ended open arms, caned seat, on baluster-turned front legs with scroll-carved feet, joined by a conforming turned H-form stretcher and front low stretcher, 65cm wide, 44cm deep, 129cm high, the seat 38cm high.
