RARE 1851-60 6d BISECT ON COVER: 1860 env. (small faults) to Annapolis franked with a diagonally bisected 6d deep green (SG6, large margins) tied with a barred canceller, with Halifax and Annapolis cds's on reverse. An exceptionally fine example of this rare shade used to pay the 3d rate. SG6a £5000.
