A rare Hornby Dublo pre-war EDL1 'Sir Nigel Gresley', the scarcity lies in the box. The box was originally used as a factory repair, part of the service repair labels are loose in the box. The box is 5/40 from 350 produced, the lid of the box has the faint writing 'hand-rails, connecting rods and (indistinguishable). Locomotive and tender Ex plus, no fatigue to wheels or bodywork, the pick-ups are early post-war, tender has no fatigue to wheels or base. Comes with original locomotive wrapper from 1938, tender is housed in a pale blue box. Boxes VG-Ex
