Great Britain: National Telewriter Company Limited, preferred ordinary shares, 1909, #242, green. An early forerunner to the FAX machine allowing a subscriber to send handwritten messages over the telephone line. Some big clients were Fortnum & Mason, Harrod's and Army and Navy Stores. Eventually installed in various stock and produce exchanges in London, Liverpool and Manchester. Still in existence in 1933 but no trace after that. VF and rare.
