Continental or English provincial silver love spoon, late 17th century, with scrolled mask head terminal leading to planished fig shape bowl, the rear engraved E A S 1694, together with another smaller silver spoon with ball knop on twisted stem leading to planished bowl, rear engraved B A D. The larger of the two spoons would have originally been gilt, most of that is now polished off. There is pitting and wear throughout both spoons.
