A large Coalport batwing pot pourri vase with an inner and outer cover, circa 1900-1910, of twin-handled form with ramshead handles, the cobalt and lemon yellow ground painted with polychrome flowers, further decorated with gilt fruiting tendrils and foliage, printed factory mark in green, numbered V.5663 / C / 4th. 174, printed registration mark 283570, 29cm high (hairlines) Provenance: Ivor Southorn Collection. Notes: This is a rare shape and pattern combination.
