Two different WWII 1940's Captain Marvel toys ex-warehouse stock. During WWII material such as metal were not used for toy production as they were reserved for the war effort. Most wartime toys such as these were made from paper/card. From 1945 the three Flying Marvels Captain Marvel, Mary Marvel and Captain Marvel Junior (no cutting, no pasting, easy to assemble, he really flies) by Fawcett Publications in the USA. Nearly 80 years old and never played with. Fawcett's Captain Marvel whose comics at one time outsold Superman comics, is now known as DC Comics character Shazam
