A 19th century style carnelian set ring, the oval cut carnelian within rub over and openwork mount, stamped indistinctly, possibly 18k, ring size K, 4gms

Ring would benefit from a clean.
Rub over setting edge is a little low in areas.
Blemishes and scuffs seen to the stone, commensurate with being worn.
General surface scuffs and scratches seen to the metal, commensurate with being worn.
Shank appears a little mishappen, may have perhaps been knocked.
Stamp is indistinct.
No obvious signs of repair/resizing seen to the ring.
