With 2 copied service records (confirming numbers) and HMS Hildebrand details, Joseph Woodhouse was born in Haverton Hill 11/4/95, enlisted 10/8/14, served at Dunkirk and Defence of Antwerp 19/9/14 to 14/10/14, with M.E.F including Gallipoli 6/2/15 to 28/2/16, served with AMC HMS Hildebrand 20/9/16 to 6/4/28. Hildebrand was torpedoed by U-79 while escorting a convoy in the vicinity of Rathlin Island 2/10/17 but reached the Clyde safely. He transferred to the Chatham Division 1917/18. (R)
