A genuine vintage German photo album - depicting women in the German Girl's League under the banner of the German Labour Front instigated in 1939. This album is complete and a fascinating visual account of female contributions to the Nazi regime. Also included is a 1943 certificate appointing a Franz Schiller to the railway management system of the Third Reich.
During this time many women were sent to farm where they were lived in barrack like accommodation under strict supervision. This was viewed as the female parallel to conscription. Viewed at the time at producing a trained labour front in the event of war.
