Obverse: William Wyon's filleted bust of the Queen surrounded by a legend that reads 'VICTORIA DEI GRATIA' with 'A' over the second 'A' in 'GRATIA' and the date beneath. Reverse: crowned shield of royal arms surrounded by a wreath of olive branches, 'BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID: DEF:' around with tiny 'S' branch mint mintmark to the base of the wreath. Edge: milled. Weight: 7.98g. Diameter: 22.05mm. Mintage: 1,366,000. Grade: EF - minor contact lines and hairlines visible under magnification; otherwise, EF or nearly so.
