Georgian, late 18th or early 19th Century, naval officer's dirk with tapering shallow diamond section blade (L 20.5cm), blued and gilt etched with vines for two-thirds of its length, gilt stylised oakleaf crossguard and lower band to turned ivory grip with gilt pommel cap decorated with Tudor rose, in its gilt scabbard with two rings, the front engraved floral devices in panels.
