1803 George III gold Half Guinea (S 3736, EGC 848). Obverse: sixth laureate head, right, 'GEORGIVS III DEI GRATIA' around. Reverse: shield within a garter surmounted by a crown, the date (1803) below, 'BRITANNIARUM REX FIDEI DEFENSOR' around. Weight: 4.18g. Diameter: 20.4mm. Grade: aVF - surface metal damage around the crown on the reverse, possibly ex-mount, otherwise about Very Fine.
