A late 20c French carriage clock in glazed brass 'Gorge' case, the white rectangular dial having Roman numerals and Arabic outer minute numerals and signed Asprey for the retailer. The striking/repeating movement is signed by the maker Epie and has a lever platform escapement and strikes on a gong. The clock stands 18cm tall (handle raised).

More Information

The case dial and glasses are all in good condition. The movement seems complete and is clean but the strike side main spring is disconnected and the balance does not oscillate.
