1914-15 Star trio to 2999 Pte W.J. Pitt C. of Lond Yeo very fine and better. William James Pitt died of illness aged 18 on 4th June 1916 and is buried in Alexandra War Memorial Cemetery. With copied CWGC and MIC, he landed Gallipoli 30/10/15, fell ill while defending Suez Canal area, from Walthamstow. (R)
