Emily Eden (1797-1869): Anglo Indian lithograph of the Sikh Maharaja Ranjit Singh, seated dressed in red garb, appears to be from the rare hand coloured version, mounted on card, numbered, red ink border, probably one of only a handful of copies produced in this format, taken from the "Portraits of the Princes and People of India J Dickinson & Son 1844". 53cm x 41cm, previously framed, toning otherwise in good order, (Provenance: formally in a collection in Gloucester, England, UK)
